Arthur Christopoulos, BPharm PhD, is Professor of Pharmacology at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, and a Senior Principal Research Fellow of the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council. His research focuses on novel paradigms of drug action at GPCRs. In particular, Prof. Christopoulos applies multidisciplinary approaches to study allosteric modulators and biased agonists of GPCRs. He has over 300 publications and 180 invited presentations, has served on 8 Editorial Boards, is a Councilor for IUPHAR and Deputy Chair of NC-IUPHAR. He has been a recipient of the ASPET John J. Abel Award, the ASCEPT Rand Medal, the BPS Gaddum Memorial Award, the IUPHAR Analytical Pharmacology Lecturer, a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences, and a Doctor of Laws from the University of Athens. Since 2014, Clarivate Analytics have named him a Highly Cited Researcher in Pharmacology and Toxicology.
